Terms of Service

Last updated September 30, 2026

These Terms of Service apply when you use Outsy (outsy.io). By using the site or creating an account, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you don’t agree, please don’t use Outsy.

What Outsy is

Outsy is a guide to events and venues around the San Francisco Bay Area. We gather event information from venues, ticketing platforms, event organizers, and other publicly available sources to help you discover things to do.

Outsy does not organize, host, manage, or produce the events listed on the site, and we do not sell tickets.

Event information can change

Event dates, times, prices, lineups, locations, availability, and other details can change or may occasionally be incorrect. Please check the venue, event organizer, or ticket seller before attending an event or purchasing a ticket.

Tickets and other purchases are made through third-party websites. Any purchase, payment, refund, cancellation, or other transaction is between you and the applicable third party. Outsy is not responsible for cancelled, postponed, changed, sold-out, or otherwise unavailable events, or for purchases or transactions made through third-party websites.

Third-party websites and links

Outsy links to websites operated by venues, ticket sellers, event organizers, music platforms, and other third parties. When you click a link to another website, you may leave Outsy and be subject to that website’s terms, privacy policy, and other rules. We do not control these third-party websites and are not responsible for their content, availability, security, products, services, or practices.

Any transaction or interaction you have with a third party is solely between you and that third party.

Ratings and reviews from Google

Some venue ratings, reviews, and review-related information displayed on Outsy come from Google Maps or other Google services. Review summaries are generated by Google using AI; Outsy does not write them. Google content is provided subject to Google’s applicable terms and policies. We do not control Google’s content, ratings, reviews, or review summaries, and that information may change over time.

Where Google requires attribution, disclosures, or other notices, Outsy will display them as required. For more information, see Google’s Terms.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited under applicable law.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the total liability of Outsy and its owner to you for all claims arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of Outsy is limited to one hundred US dollars ($100). This limit applies whatever the legal theory of the claim, including contract and tort. Some places do not allow certain limits on liability, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

Your responsibility for misuse

If someone brings a claim against Outsy or its owner because you violated these Terms or misused Outsy, or if your violation or misuse causes us a direct loss, you agree to reimburse our reasonable costs, including reasonable legal fees, to the extent they were caused by your violation or misuse.

We will tell you about any such claim where we reasonably can, and we will take reasonable steps to limit those costs. This section does not apply to your ordinary, lawful use of Outsy, or to the extent a claim arises from our own misconduct.

Termination

You may stop using Outsy at any time. We may suspend or end your access at any time if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms or created a risk to Outsy or others. Sections of these Terms that by their nature should continue to apply after termination, including those on third-party content, no guarantees, limitation of liability, your responsibility for misuse, governing law, and disputes, will survive.

Changes to Outsy and these Terms

We may change, update, or discontinue parts of Outsy at any time. We may also update these Terms from time to time. If we make significant changes, we will update the “Last updated” date above and may provide additional notice where appropriate.

By continuing to use Outsy after updated Terms become effective, you agree to the revised Terms.

Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of Outsy will be brought in the state or federal courts located in San Francisco County, California, and you consent to the jurisdiction of those courts.
